Wendy Cooper is an appraiser in Post-War and Contemporary Fine Art and member of the Appraisesr’s Association of America.  Prior to that, Wendy built two businesses in the art market over the last 30 years  – as a private dealer for ten years in New York, Cooper-Seeman Fine Art, and as gallery owner for nine years in Madison, WI and Chicago, in her eponymous Wendy Cooper Gallery.  Cooper exhibited the work of gallery artists at art fairs in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Brussels and Berlin. Clients include private collectors, museums, law firms, tech, hospitality, real estate and banking businesses. Cooper was the Director of the Dane County Airport Art Commission, Madison, WI, where artists were solicited for a site-specific project. As educator, speaker, and museum fundraiser, Cooper has worked with several different communities through the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art (MMoCA), Madison, WI, the Laumeier Sculpture Park, St. Louis, MO and the Art Institute of Chicago, IL on fundraising and programming for members. Since 2014, Wendy has been a Trustee for the estate of artist Jennifer Wynne Reeves.
